We are looking for our next great employee! If you are energetic, organized and want a great workout each week, come apply for the stocking position. Each week, usually Wednesday, we receive multiple pallets of bird food that needs to be received, stocked and organized. We are looking for someone that can safely and accurately receive in shipments as well as stock the sales floor. • Must be able to lift 20-50lb repetitively. • 6-12 hours per week, no weekends • Willing and able to provide high energy customer service when needed. • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Job Description: Part-time Stocking Position
Customer Experience • Understands that the high energy customer experience is the #1 priority. • Completes each OWL module as part of the High Energy Training in order to deliver the WBU high energy customer experience. • Has read, understood and follows the Employee Handbook, including the WBU Ten Touch Points training and best practices. • Follows the best practices of the Person in Charge of the Customer Experience. • Wears the logo name badge and logo apparel while working on the sales floor.
Daily Operations • Follows all safety policies and procedures. • Carries out seed and products for customers. • Unloads seed truck as necessary. Organizes and maintains seed inventory. • Bags seed as needed. Replenishes floor supply of all seed, rotates all stock. • Accurately checks in all merchandise shipments. Notes overages, shortages, damage. • Prices merchandise accurately. Restocks floor as needed; backstock is priced and placed in appropriate storage area. • Notifies owner / manager when products are low or sold out.
Store Maintenance • Maintains good housekeeping standards to help present a clean and well-presented store. • Maintains cleanliness of storefront. • Follows procedures for maintaining adequate quantities of sales counter, bagging, cleaning and shipping supplies. Replenishes as needed.
Personnel Management • Demonstrates a positive, enthusiastic and professional demeanor. • Attends store meetings as required.
Administrative Control • Adheres to all store policies and procedures regarding administrative duties and scheduling. • Completes accurate and legible paperwork.
Loss Prevention • Adheres to all store policies and procedures regarding personal and store security. • Communicates security concerns to management
